THE LEGAL DIVISION intends to play a leading role in Special Libraries Association as it becomes the premier association of the library world. Our profession is our central focus and our activities will promote professional development and competence.

Founded June 11, 1993, the Legal Division serves as a forum for the exchange of information, ideas, and knowledge among law and regulatory affairs librarians. We address concerns unique to librarians practicing in private law firms, businesses, and government libraries.  Our Web site exists to assist us in communicating our ideals and goals.
